dribs and drabs learning journey about My Amazing Girl....

There are three different of writing: kanji, hiragana and katakana. Sabrina starting on Hiragana.. I never let her practice it on daily basis... do it when there is free time. So far she show interest...she said is fun to learn. No forcing in this learning journey. Maybe her stroke is not ready accurate but think is alright.. at least she recognize what is the words she write :) and My niece pass to me her basis Japanese course materials...will go thru it when I free.. and looking for the idea to learn further.

Maybe I am too kiasu.. I wish to let Sabrina exposure to difference foreign language. After German... I choose Japanese for her next language to exposure. In journey of foreign language .. I am not require Sabrina need to remember everthing what she has go thru .but I want her to enjoy the whole journey of learning. Recently, I had do my research. how to start to teach "Japanese". First, I search for the communication sentences and Greeting.. thought to start from here. I also think of starting from letters sounds.After that, realize their words are so difference for English. I had found a very good website to teach the stroke of "Hiragana". Today,, she learnt at the supermarket--Im Supermarkt new words like I do my part : Ich Helfe ihnen To fill the cart : Den korb Zu Fuellen Til it can hold no more : Bis er ganz voll ist We put in : Wir legen Hinein : Bread : Brot Milk : Milch Ice cream : Eis Chicken : Huehnchen Eggs : Eier Add potatoes : Und Kartoffein Nice red tomatoes : schoene rote tomaten Lettuce : Salat Apples : Aepfel

Normally, Sabrina will choose the song she want to learn.. then I let her watched for 5 times.. after that I will write out lyrics and She will sing accordingly ...maybe Sabrina was a phonics trained that why she could learn it fast and pronoun it clear

We are learning "Happy Birthday to You" in German today. Very happy Sabrina got learn it fast. New words and new songs...

Recently, I had brought out my "Learn German The Fun Way" DVD .. for Sabrina to learn again. After 1 week on DVD .. She could....said "The day of the week " I hope I could really continuel the German learning journey with her.
