After the assessment creative writing done on Saturday.I want Sabrina to memorize the essays that she had read. Hope this journey will help her in creative writing that one day she could write well.

Red rice wine is a traditional food in my hometown.. Red rice wine also type of confinement food in my hometown, women need to take this during their confinement period as to keep their body warm. Ingredients jiu piah ang kek bee (red yeast rice) Soak the glutinous rice overnight and steam it. Loosen and spread the rice out to cool completely Grind jiu piah, ang kek bee mix it with cook glurunous rice Transfer the mixture to a container and cover tightly with a lid. Store the container in a warm, dry place and allow the mixture to ferment for 1 month. then will have to mix it every 7 days.

Teach a child draw a basic shapes like circle, a lot of drawing starting with a circle.A big circle , small circle, semi-circle.... Give your child a lollipop, ask her to draw a circle look like a lollipop. coloring Shadow... use dark green and light green. Teach about the color..ask about our environment in surroundings. Look at the dark of the tree.. can not be smooth... Fine motor skills are important in most of the activities. To help improve the fine motor skills. Let a child grasping small objects like marbles, beans,holding a fork and spoon. Let a child do a lot of scribble.

We went to collected our goodies bag for POSB kids run on 19 Sep at Sengkang CC. after that we headed to Suntec City , we do some shopping at carrefour ,we brought one dragon lantern, one box of fireworks and 2 boxes of whole gain cereal. after lunch we went Toys "R" us star for fun. We leave the place about 5.00pm. At night, we let Sabrina play fireworks and cycling at open spaces near by our block.

We went The Alternative Story, Yishun branch for Creative Writing Assessment for Sabrina. a) First test on the essay 1) Teacher's will read the essay with action and also to do explanation of the words. 2) follow by some picture help to remember the essay. 3) covered up the essay. Sabrina will has to say out the essay with helping from the picture, I could said She is doing great. b) Second test on the Gammars (past tense and present tense) She gave 5/10 questions. The teacher said she could join in the class on saturday 9.30am to 1130am. The problem Sabrina has a swimming lesson on saturday at 11.30am at Yishun Safra. If we own a car that should not be a problem because the place actually is quite near to the Safra swimming pool just about 2 bus stops. if we are taking public transportation will need about 15 to 20min. We will go for trial class on next Saturday. We will sign up her for weekday class.

How to improve children in drawing.They need Imagination in their life. Second the motor skills need to be trained. (like picking green bean and red bean, hahaha I had train Sabrina to pick with a pair chopsticks) Today, let me teach Sabrina "How to draw a ladybug ?" Before starting the class, parents can tell a bit about a ladybug.. Is a insect ? what color of the ladybug ? Where can we find them ? A easy step by step.. Today, I realise Sabrina can copy the drawing well. Crayon is best choice for coloring. Imagine they are on a big leaf. A ladybug like to stay on the green young leaf Drawings represent the child's experience of the world Sabrina said the leaf is floating in the river....

Time passed Sabrina on breaststroke lessons almost end. According to the coach, children are starting with freestyle., them intend to use kicking method then breaststorke. Next two week is the test period. I Had brought her to Sengkang swimming pool today and also yesterday to do some practice on the skill. Yes . I hope she could pass the test.. I will let her go on friday again. Hope that she could pick up the skill.

I need to work something for Sabrina on English learning. So I get this book This book consists of 40 model essays. In order to help Sabrina on write effectively. This book gives Sabrina the opportunity to study model essays, to learn new words through the Vocabulary Builder and also to stimulate their critical thinking via the Mind Teaser. All the essays is about the students encounters, experiences and imagination. I hope will learn to perceive life from different perspectives and simultaneously improve their writing skill. She should read widely to build the vocabulary. So far, Her reading skills and understanding is good,creative writing skill still need to be improve. Recently I had been searching for the creative writing lesson for her but all the learning central is only accept student for P1. Hope this learning journey will help her when she starting her Primary school in 2012.

Today is third day Sabrina had cycle to school in the morning.

Today,I am going to teach Sabrina "How to draw a Snail ?" I am using this book to teach Sabrina the step of " How to draw a snail ?" First, I need to explain step by step by telling she what shape is it ? a small hill ? then behind was carrying the sun....to the last. She is learn it fast. She could draw a big snail and a small snail. She said she want colorful snails. Use the black crayon to draw the out line. The picture look nicer with the black out line. Draw a line to separate the sky and the ground. paint the grass.. and the blue sky. This picture is 100% done by Sabrina. She is doing great. fast and nice. Good job ! well done.

Today, Sabrina asking me this question ? Have you ever wondered where stars go in the daytime ? then she told me... Nowhere ! Even though you can't see them, stars are still shining in the sky. The shining sun makes the sky so bright that starlight can't be seen. As the sun begins to set, the sky gets darker. Then one by one the stars start to appear. I feel happy because She could read and telling what she had read.

Speech and Drama from St Anne's Church Kindy.

I still can remember, When Sabrina was doing 3 digit + 3 digit Maths questions. She was facing a bit of difficulty She was saying is very difficult and tiring. 10 questions she was only got 4 right. That time she was crying a lot.I was scolded her a lot too but she very fast has overcome difficulty period. One day, she was telling me that she like Maths, Maths is easy. She need more practise that she could do well. I think parents could give a little push on them. The result may surprise you. If we let children taking their own sweet time to do their homeworks. They will come slow and slower, lazy and lazier. So a positive push is good for the children.

This is the last drawing lesson for Sabrina. This Lesson is teaching them about Youth Olympic Games topic.

This Sunday, I decide to bring Sabrina going to Jurong East Sport Complex is nearer to MRT Chinese Garden Station. We brought Sabrina there when she was 1 year old once. But is about 2hours journey from Sengkang to Chinese Garden. We will try not to take cab for our outing on weekend. That is to train her enjoy the public transportation in Singapore. We can go everywhere in Singapore by Bus or MRT. Last year they had a renovation going on. I find that after renovation the place is clear and nice. They had build out more shelters. The place is just look like a resort style. We also saw a lot of European too. Entry fee is only S$1.50 (weekday for adult, weekend S$2.00 for adult We reached there about 10.15am. Sabrina is very excited. She can't wait to play. There are artificial wave and rain pool.This is Sabrina favorite place. merry go round pool. We had our Otak from last night and Meehoon for Lunch. We leave about 2pm that because Sabrina has Arts class at 7pm.

After Library, I let Sabrina play at Yishun Indoor playground at 3rd floor and daddy is with her. Because Popular is having 20% discount promotion for 2 days 20/8 and 21/8. I need to top up some stationery for Sabrina. I brought 1 box of 2B pencil, I thinking of teaching Sabrina 素描,some arts and craft stuffs and some assessment book. We went Jalan Kayu for our dinner. as only today we find out there are one new prawn noodle stall because Sabrina and I likes prawn noodle. When we reached the stall is closed we are very disappointed. 265 Jalan Kayu there are one stall selling Otak. The Otak is Yummy. Sabrina is eating white fish. (non-spice)
