Sabrina read First Long Novels小黃鹂鸟

After lunch, She has about 30min to 45min reading times in the afternoon
Out of sudden, She bring out this book and starting to read it loudly.
and I was so surprise and asked her whether her need help from me or not ? or I can read it to her..but she told me "No need, mummy I can understand..
I brought this book from City Square JB, a few month ago, never been tough it before.I thought this book will be a white elephant for me.As I from Chinese education background, I hope Sabrina one day could reads Chinese long novels on her own.
She could read about 95% of the words .. she only need my help on words like
铺 ，倚， 挪，腾，舀，瓷。。

She has enjoy reading it.

As she could read any books with HYPY ,even mummy also need help from her on HYPY.
She even told me that she likes Chinese story books than English.
Her words of recognize also very strong.. sometimes she will be a 小老师 in school read to class.

Finally, S exam date getting nearer ,about a week more...Changed from grade 1 exam to grade 2 in Nov 11, spend her quality time to practices almost everyday. She has prepared 3 pieces exam songs and all Scales, Arpeggios & Broken Chords in 4 months time. and she has started her piano lesson since her 5YO birthday in Sep 10 spend about 1 and a half year to reached grade 2. I could says " She is working really hard".Even thought she had scolded or spanked by me. (I am very firm). The 3 house playground @ Changi City Point

Today is Sabrina last piano lesson @ Tampines, so decided bring Sabrina to have fun @ Expo Changi City Point, get to know this thru sengkangbabies blog. Outside the shopping centre there is a very beautiful lighting and the lights will change colors. The 3 house playground is located @ 2nd floor just outside e food count. e water play very similar to the NEX, serangoon. Except the 3 house have a more adventures playground not like the usual slide. water play is always fun..Is time to enjoy her childhood time. Time for destress... spin,spin,spin and round,round,round. went home about 7.30pm..bc S still has not done her stellar handwriting HW from school.
