18th Piano update

As usual, Teacher will review the last week homework, make sure she play it smoothly.
after that they start with A Dozen A Day.
Jumping Over A Bench-left hand must fly over the right hand keys.Maybe is not used to it keep making mistake in beginning

New thing : G-Major (F#) 1 Octave
#sharp - go up half step
b flat - go down half step

Natural- to cancel sharp and flat



Piano made Easy new piece " Chopsticks"
This is difficult piece on 3 counts and play with strong soft soft rhythm, need to control finger strength on right and left hands together.Sabrina has spend almost 3 hours on this piece.

Piano made Easy 2nd new piece "Ladder and Stairs"
Also another difficult piece need more hand and eye coordination and also concentration on the sight reading.She spend also 2 hours on this piece.

New piece on Alfred basic All-in-One Book 2
Harmonic Waltz right hand and left hand piece..like a dancing song. Not so difficult.

New Piece for Micheal Aaron "Progress"
Very nice song.. Sabrina like it. Not so difficult for her .. learn it fast.

Sabrina had spend a lot of time on piano practice cos all pieces getting more difficult to play.

Trial Grade 2 Exam Studio 24 @ Tampines Mall

Finally, S exam date getting nearer ,about a week more...Changed from grade 1 exam to grade 2 in Nov 11, spend her quality time to practices almost everyday. She has prepared 3 pieces exam songs and all Scales, Arpeggios & Broken Chords in 4 months time. and she has started her piano lesson since her 5YO birthday in Sep 10 spend about 1 and a half year to reached grade 2. I could says " She is working really hard".Even thought she had scolded or spanked by me. (I am very firm). Yes, piano learning not that easy.. need to spend a lot of of time , effort and discipline over mother and child. I here, to Thanks Sabrina's my lovely daughter about her hard work. Mummy know you have all your effort in and I am very sorry about been fierce to you. after her normal 6hours schooling follow by ballet lesson then we have to rush down to Tampines.. The 3 house playground @ Changi City Point

Today is Sabrina last piano lesson @ Tampines, so decided bring Sabrina to have fun @ Expo Changi City Point, get to know this thru sengkangbabies blog. Outside the shopping centre there is a very beautiful lighting and the lights will change colors. The 3 house playground is located @ 2nd floor just outside e food count. e water play very similar to the NEX, serangoon. Except the 3 house have a more adventures playground not like the usual slide. water play is always fun..Is time to enjoy her childhood time. Time for destress... spin,spin,spin and round,round,round. went home about 7.30pm..bc S still has not done her stellar handwriting HW from school.
