4th lesson piano on Left Hand CB + Both hand

Sabrina did well on today lesson, She could play smoothly on right hand notes. Teacher Rebecca praised her a lot said that base on Sabrina learning speed, Sabrina could prepare for exam next year. actually I quite surprise when i hear that because today was only 4th lesson. Isn't that too fast for her ???
Teacher Rebecca straight away start her on "base Clef" CB.

She could handle the left hand well But teacher Rebbecca still need her to practise it at home 5 times a day from notes 1 to 4 non-stop.


Then Teacher Rebecca continual to teach Sabrina how to play" A Duple Feel" with both hands


Because of the performance Sabrina start to learn how to play "Mary Had A Little Lamb" with both hands.I think Sabrina did well on her first try..

Last 10 min was the theory time, Teacher Rebecca ask a question (oral)type
"Semibreve-Dotted Minim+Minim = how many counts" , the best thing is Sabrina could give her the correct answer.I am very proud of Sabrina because I have not even get the question clearly from Rebecca (She was talking very fast). Sabrina had already
give her the answer.

Finally, S exam date getting nearer ,about a week more...Changed from grade 1 exam to grade 2 in Nov 11, spend her quality time to practices almost everyday. She has prepared 3 pieces exam songs and all Scales, Arpeggios & Broken Chords in 4 months time. and she has started her piano lesson since her 5YO birthday in Sep 10 spend about 1 and a half year to reached grade 2. I could says " She is working really hard".Even thought she had scolded or spanked by me. (I am very firm). Yes, piano learning not that easy.. need to spend a lot of of time , effort and discipline over mother and child. I here, to Thanks Sabrina's my lovely daughter about her hard work. The 3 house playground @ Changi City Point

Today is Sabrina last piano lesson @ Tampines, so decided bring Sabrina to have fun @ Expo Changi City Point, get to know this thru sengkangbabies blog. Outside the shopping centre there is a very beautiful lighting and the lights will change colors. The 3 house playground is located @ 2nd floor just outside e food count. e water play very similar to the NEX, serangoon. Except the 3 house have a more adventures playground not like the usual slide. water play is always fun..Is time to enjoy her childhood time. Time for destress... spin,spin,spin and round,round,round. went home about 7.30pm..bc S still has not done her stellar handwriting HW from school.
