13th lesson update -Number Song-1st song of Level 2
After 2 weeks holiday, Sabrina miss piano lesson a lot.. She actually self-learned a lot of songs during holiday time..
As usual, They started with book A Dozen A Day. Today,They had practised 4 difference technical exercises on "Kicking Left Leg Up" = play slur and staccato on left hands, Backward Bend =practise strength on left hands especially on "F", Stretching Legs Out and Back=moving on both hands and also Skipping = skipping notes.
Follow by review with her on Clementine, Clap You Hands If You're Happy and also I am A Little Tea - Pot.
Today, she has move on to Level 2 , she gotta learned new notes : Dotted Crotchet = one and a half count.
First, Teacher explain how count the beat 1+2 on Dotted minim then another + is on Crotchet.next,learnt how to play and count the notes.
First new song on Number Song
Next,They also cover Step by Step book new song " Lightly Row" only on right hands.
But I also need Sabrina to play both hands piece.
