World of stories-Puppet storytelling session at Bishan Library

World of stories at community arts project by the Singapore Arts Festival and the National Library board,presents 12 life-size books that celebrate myths,legends and folktales around the region. Created by various schools and exhibited at 12 Public Libraries, each life-size book also features a puppetry form inspired by the origin of the story.

Stories are an important part of life. They can bring us back in time, stop time to feel the present or time travel to a future we have not imagined. We can be whoever the author wants us to be, witnessing the action, feeling what the main character is feeling or choosing the fare of our destiny.
