学習成語

During our chinese story time, we will read one or two 成語 in every story.
I normally will highlight out to Sabrina and also explain it what is 成語 and the meaning of the 成語.
成語a type of traditional Chinese idiomatic expressions, most of which consist of four characters;

Recently i have find that Sabrina Chinese reading is quite strong compare it with last year.She could read many story without any helping from HYPY. So I decide to teach her about 成語.

Yesterday I brought a book "学習成語" from 2nd book store just only $3.90.

Every ChengYu There will be one story to explain it. I find that is very good. Sabrina could learn some difficult words in this story book, that will make her chinese get stronger.

I had started this yesterday. I have writing out the ChengYu on the Mahjong paper.


I wish all this early learning will help her in future study.

Finally, S exam date getting nearer ,about a week more...Changed from grade 1 exam to grade 2 in Nov 11, spend her quality time to practices almost everyday. She has prepared 3 pieces exam songs and all Scales, Arpeggios & Broken Chords in 4 months time. and she has started her piano lesson since her 5YO birthday in Sep 10 spend about 1 and a half year to reached grade 2. The 3 house playground @ Changi City Point

Today is Sabrina last piano lesson @ Tampines, so decided bring Sabrina to have fun @ Expo Changi City Point, get to know this thru sengkangbabies blog. Outside the shopping centre there is a very beautiful lighting and the lights will change colors. The 3 house playground is located @ 2nd floor just outside e food count. e water play very similar to the NEX, serangoon. Except the 3 house have a more adventures playground not like the usual slide. water play is always fun..Is time to enjoy her childhood time. Time for destress... spin,spin,spin and round,round,round. went home about 7.30pm..bc S still has not done her stellar handwriting HW from school.
