I had started to teach Sabrina on "Money" subject.
I starting her with cents " How to make it to $1 dollar"

1) A 1 dollar coin is equal to (2) 50 cent coins.
2) A 1 dollar coin is equal to (5) 20 cent coins.
3) A 1 dollar coin is equal to (10) 10 cent coins.
4) 100 cents is equal to (1) dollar.

Then after that I give her (1) 50 cents (1) 20 cents (2) 10 cents (2) 5 cents
I will ask her to make up the amount I want.

"how to make it 85 cents" ?
and she have to take (1) 50cents (1) 20cents (1) 10cents and (1) 5cents.

she need to use addition skills to help her to count.

She is doing great too.

I will start with her of value of the money ? What can we buy with $1 dollar ?

Finally, S exam date getting nearer ,about a week more...Changed from grade 1 exam to grade 2 in Nov 11, spend her quality time to practices almost everyday. She has prepared 3 pieces exam songs and all Scales, Arpeggios & Broken Chords in 4 months time. and she has started her piano lesson since her 5YO birthday in Sep 10 spend about 1 and a half year to reached grade 2. I could says " She is working really hard".Even thought she had scolded or spanked by me. (I am very firm). The 3 house playground @ Changi City Point

Today is Sabrina last piano lesson @ Tampines, so decided bring Sabrina to have fun @ Expo Changi City Point, get to know this thru sengkangbabies blog. Outside the shopping centre there is a very beautiful lighting and the lights will change colors. The 3 house playground is located @ 2nd floor just outside e food count. e water play very similar to the NEX, serangoon. Except the 3 house have a more adventures playground not like the usual slide. water play is always fun..Is time to enjoy her childhood time. Time for destress... spin,spin,spin and round,round,round. went home about 7.30pm..bc S still has not done her stellar handwriting HW from school.
