School holiday + Homework
Homework is very important for Sabrina.
Schedule is needed for Sabrina.
Homework teaches Sabrina how to take responsibility for her part in the educational process.
Chinese homework
I teaches her stroke order, she need to let me know how many stroke in the word she write. Sabrina write 橫 from right to left. The correct way is from left to right. I need to keep reminding her about it.
This homework book is very good because other that the stroke order, they give example sentence that help Sabrina learn how to make a sentence for the word she write.
I currently also start to teach about the Spelling of HanYun Pinyin. For what I know Spelling for HanYun Pinyin is very important for the Primary level.
English, I brought her Brain Quest Workbook.This book is for Ages 7-8
This book covered Phonics,Spelling and Vocabulary, Language Arts, Reading, Writing, Cursive, Math Skills,Shapes and Measurement, Time and Money, Social studies and Science.
She has done it by herself fill in the missing spelling.
This page is asking her to draw her favourites toy and write 2 sentences about it.
She write " I like my toy car very much and I always play with my toy car."
Maths, addition ,subtraction and multiplication.
Currently , She is doing 3/4 numbers of subtraction and addition.But she always make careless mistake. To prevent the more mistakes she make. I had started a method
First I will only give her 3 rows to do. if she has make more that 3 mistake, she has to do another row.
Multiplication
She is now doing timetable 8.
Even thought she has finished remember timetable up to 12.
But timetable is the thing you need to practise all the time.
Every day will be one hour for homework.
